Contact Job Titles

Use Job Titles to classify contacts in way that suits your needs.

The Job Title can be used to filter Contact selections so you can target certain contacts for mail outs and other digital communcations that you might want to have with the people recorded in your Contacts database.

Example

Some examples to use are: Director, Chief Executive, Chief Financial Officer, Sales Manager, Purchasing Manager, Accounts Manager, IT Manager etc.

Note: You don’t need to have an exact title to match every corporate title on every business card you collect. The main focus here should be to use the job title list to categorise your contacts into groups that “roughly” identify their job role and responsibilities. The goal is to allow you to target a certain group or groups of contacts i.e. sales calls to all ‘Purchasing Managers’.

Minimum Requirements

Use of Job Titles on Contacts is completely optional, so you don’t have to set up any at all if you don’t need to.
