Other Time Codes

‘Other Time’ codes are used to record employee time expended that is not recorded as actual Labour for the costing of Manufacturing or Job Costing. They are used to record employee time in Time Card Entry when an Employee has not been working on a particular Work Order or Job but involved in other activities.

They allow you to enter all the hours worked by employees, recording the full breakdown of activities. When Other Time is captured the Employee reporting will then give you an historical view of each employee’s performance and a breakdown of productive and non-productive time.

Other Times may include things such as:

  • Sick Leave
  • Annual Leave
  • Meetings
  • Training
  • Cleaning
  • Supervision
  • Breakdown

Minimum Requirements

Use of ‘Other Times’ is optional so you do not need to establish any codes for ‘other times’ if you don’t need them.

Changing Established Data

You can create ‘other time’ codes at any time.
