Use this function to change the customer order number recorded against an invoice or credit transaction.
This function is provided to allow you to correct any errors made in the recording of the customer’s order number (their Purchase Order number) after the transaction has been invoiced/credited. The same applies to a transaction (Sales Order) where the customer order number wasn’t known or recorded and you want to go back and record it correctly on the transaction history.
How to Use
Customer
Using the Customers panel, select the customer against which the transaction was raised.
Change Customer Order No.
Invoices and credits for the customer are presented in a list with newest transactions at the top of the list.
Scroll down the list to find the required invoices/credits or use the grid column filters and grouping to find the transaction(s).
Click on the item required (or tab through the list via keyboard) and change the customer order number.
Click the ‘Save’ button to complete the change.
