The Order Management module provides procedures to cover the entry and processing of Customer “Sales Orders” and internal “Transfer Orders” to other branches, warehouses or factories that have been established in the system. In summary this system allows user to process the following transaction types:
- Sales Orders
- Transfer Orders
- Picking Dockets
- Despatch Dockets
- Invoices
- Credit Notes
- Consignment Notes
The information created and used in the Order Management system is closely integrated to the Online Advantage Inventory Control (Stock) and Accounts Receivable (Debtors) systems to allow a cohesive approach to all aspects of order processing, credit control and replenishment.
The order processing system caters for current, forward and multi-date (Drop or Duplicate) orders.
Despatching of goods can be done through the generation of Picking Lists (Multiple Orders) or Picking Dockets (Individual Orders) or through a process of selectively nominating which items from an order are being despatched as required.

- Fully automated Electronic Document Delivery facilities with fax, email and email with extra attachments all included within Order Processing functions
Pricing and Discount Rules
The entry of customer “Sales” orders in the system is controlled through the centralised pricing and discounting rules that can be established in the system to make the pricing a controlled and automated function. After all, the Margin/Mark-up you achieve on individual product lines it the most significant factory in the profitability of your activities that you can control outside of expense budgeting and the planning of fixed costs of the business.
