Work Order Cost Update

Purpose

This procedure is used to update the cost of work orders after a change to the cost of some component of the work order specification (like Labour, Material, Charges etc.). You can update costs for individual Work Orders by re-saving them in the Work Order entry function, but this function allows you to update multiple Work Orders which are selected based on your chosen criteria.

Data Input

Step 1 – Fixed Filters

Set the filter criteria to select your target Work Orders.

Step 2 – Selected Items

The selected work orders are displayed in a list.

Select the work order(s) you wish to update by ticking the checkbox on the far left.
The cost of the Work Order and new cost are shown for reference. You may update more than one work order at a time.

Click Submit to confirm changes made to the work orders and update the database.
